$1 Mini Book and CD/DVD Ornament Templates, FREE tutorial!

Hi Friends,

Since I have already told you about my sales for the rest of the month, I will not post about each individual sale, every day. However, I did want to share a couple of hybrid templates I made, that would make wonderful Christmas gifts for family and friends. Both are on sale today only, for just $1.00 each!

Mini Book Christmas Ornament

Make a fun Mini Book Christmas Ornament with this single page template! Very convenient for printing, and making copies. Free tutorial included.

With a few alterations, this template would be great for any subject or occasion. I use these books all the time, with my preschool kids, to reinforce our lesson plans. They love them so much, we are making this version, as our gift to the parents.

The entire mini book, all 8 pages, are on the one page, Mini book Template is 11×8.5, 300 DPI, in PSD and PNG format. Approved for Personal Use, Scrap4Hire, and Commercial Use. Shadows on preview for display purposes only.

Christmas Ornament CD/DVD Holder

Use this template pack to create a Christmas ornament that holds your CD or DVD!

I make DVDs for my preschool parents, each year, of all the pictures and scrapbook pages I made through out the year, about the time I spend with their children. About two years ago, I started making these ornaments to hold them, the parents love them so much, I now make them for grandparents too!

I also make DVDs of all our family photos though the year. My mother looks forward to getting the ornament as much as she does the DVD.

This pack includes 2 (front and back) 11×8.5, 300 DPI templates, in PSD and PNG format, and the below tutorial, on how to assemble your ornament. Approved for Personal Use, Scrap For Hire, Scrap For Others, and Commercial Use. Quick Page and Creative Team friendly. Shadows on templates for preview purposes only.

CD/DVD Christmas Ornament

To assemble your ornament.

1) Print on heavy duty cardstock.

There is a small amount of extra space on the bottom circle of each or my templates. This is to provide a cut bleed area.

2) Use circle cutters to cut out the front and back of your ornament.

3) You need a strong adhesive to ensure your CD Ornament stays together, when the weight of the CD is added, and it hangs on a tree.

To leave an opening, for you CD to slide in and out, do not apply adhesive to about five twelfths of the ornament, on one side, 12 and 5 on the clock. Apply adhesive to the underside, outmost edge, and with backs facing each other, stack.

4) Punch hole for ribbon

5) Thread ribbon through hole, creating a loop for hanging

6)  Add your CD/DVD and your ornament is done.

Print layers separately, then add Pop-Dots between the layers, and stack,  to add depth.

Instead of using the provided word art, use a photo, baby’s handprint or details/journaling about what is on your CD/DVD.

Here is a similar ornament, I made a couple of years ago.

I hope your enjoy the Mini Book, and CD/DVD Ornament templates!

Have a great rest of the day!!
