We are getting ready to visit family for the holiday. This will be my last post for a few days.
Today’s layouts highlight a “recent” camping trip to Inks Lake, one of our favorite, most frequented state parks. All layouts were made with Faith Based #01 Blessings by Tina Williams Designs.
The layout above was made for the Scraplift challenge at Gotta Pixel, template is a challenge prop.
Word art on the above layout is from Boy Oh Boy Ellies by Soigne Scraps
Word art on the above layout is from Dahlia’s Gift OF Love Mini Freebie. Available at Faith Sisters.
I made this above layout of my son for the week 47 Scripture Challenge at Faith Sisters.
Today, I have two freebies for you.
The first is for all you die hard hikers. Fonts are Ribbon 131 BT and Rockwell. Click here to download.
The second is the scripture word art I made for the layout of my son above. Font is Ribbon 131 BT. Click here to download

One hot day, this past summer, my daughter decided to have a lemonade stand, as shown in the layouts below. All of the layouts I am sharing today are made with Lemonade Stand and Lemonade Stand Add On by Kreative Karma.
Since moving into our new house, we have had to repaint most of the bedrooms. The themes that were in the rooms were not appropriate for the child that now used them. My youngest daughter’s room was a nice pale pink, but she still wanted to do some painting. So we took her old beat up dresser and went polka dot crazy :0)

Check out Amanda’s new kit Christmas Shimmers! I love that Amanda was able to give this kit a feeling of Christmas while at the same time departing from the usual red and green you see in Christmas kits everywhere. Amanda, you ROCK!
My kids and I love to make Gingerbread Houses every year!
These layouts were made for the Simply Fontastic challenge at Digital Candy. Kit is Christmas Shimmer by Amanda Dykan. Templates used on both layouts are from Page Happy Templates by Amanda Dykan. Font is Speedline Italic Bold.

Thanks to Candice, one of my favorite online groups, Designs with Renee, has recently learned of a family that literally lost EVERYTHING as a result of hurricane Ike. We have made it our “mission” to get the word out to anyone and everyone that we could about this family in need. Please feel free to pass this info on to your friends and family. I know that we can all make a difference in their lives!!!
Please consider purchasing this beautiful digital kit that Casey’s Design Team has created for her called NEW BEGINNINGS. All of the proceeds go directly to Casey her and her family so they can slowly but surely begin to rebuild their lives. This beautiful kit is only $10.00 and each purchase will literally change the lives of a beautiful family. If you do not digital scrap, consider going to the site and purchasing the kit anyway…you don’t have to download the links. The kit is merely a bonus and a “thank you” for helping this family out in a time of need. Ponder for a moment losing everything; I mean everything…I can’t even imagine.
The $10.00 will directly help this family AND you will receive a 753MB digital kit that will rock your world! It’s beautiful! The preview posted isn’t even a fraction of what you’ll receive. You really will want to visit this link to see the kit up close and personal. CLICK HERE TO HELP CASEY!

This kit is HUGE!!! Click here to see all the previews
I also want to acknowledge her design team who selflessly put together this beautiful kit for Casey and her family. They did a fabulous job! A group of people who banned together to give a family hope of a New Beginning!

You can continue to visit Casey’s blog for any updates. Click here for the link to go to her blogs “home” page.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping a family who needs our help. A family who is willing to give to others when they themselves have very little. A family who would give to you, or me if we needed their help.
I made this layout of my oldest son for the week 46 Scripture Challenge at Faith Sisters. I did not notice until after I made the layout that this verse was one of the ones Patter used on her cards. I guess great minds really do think a like (chuckle). As I was reading through verses, looking for inspiration. This one just jumped off the page at me. At this time in his life this is a very fitting message for my son. I pray that he will “Listen and be wise and keep his heart on the right path”. Thanks Patter for the inspiration! Kit is Dream A Little Dream, a Faith Sisters Collaboration. Fonts are Vladimirscrjoid, Rockwell and Rockwell Extra Bold.
Here is your first freebie for today. An word art overlay!
When I saw this scripture, I could not resist making another one for the Faith Sisters Scripture challenge. It sounds like it was meant to describe my daughter. Oh! Her Indian Princess (later Adventure Guides and Trail Blazers) name is Little Flower :0) This is an old photo. Kit is Dream A Little Dream, a Faith Sisters collaboration. Fonts are VladimirscrjoiD and Rockwell Extra Bold
Here is your second freebie for today. Another scripture word art overlay!
The below layout is of my son and his “little girl”. Kit is Dream A Little Dream, a Faith Sisters collaboration. Template is a Blue Prints Challenge Prop at Gotta Pixel. Font is Segoe Print.
The True Meaning of Christmas – Challenge Part 6 of 9
For the next 4 weeks we will be doing challenges based on a story by an unknown author. The story is about the true meaning of the Christmas Symbols. Each week we will take the different symbols in the story and do pages with them. After the 4 weeks are over and including the challenges from the last 5 weeks, you should have a beautiful reminder that you can share with your family every Christmas as to what the TRUE Meaning of Christmas is and that is of the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
