It’s Gonna Be a Barrel Of Fun

I made my first template today and I am sharing it with you. But first, I want to show off all the fun stuff I made for my daughter’s birthday in February. She decided on a monkey theme and after scouring the net, “Monkey’n Around” by Rebecca Myers is absolutely the CUTEST Monkey kit I found. I was so excited to get this; I knew my daughter would LOVE it! OF COURSE she DOES! So we got right to work and this is what we came up with:) (The fonts on the invitation are LD Teddy’s Trip and LD Fat Jack, the rest is Times New Roman.)

This kit is so versatile and EASY to work with. We are able to make all this in just a few hours!!! Wow, I think that is a record:) It also helped that my mom bought me Print Artist Platinum. All the little “special” items were made from templates that are included with the program, SOO easy. Okay, don’t twist my arm! I did spend another few hours cutting and assembling:) We made a thank you card too, we plan to place a photo of all the guests on the front. So I will post that after the party in February.

The only thing I did not make in PAP is the invitation. I made that in PSP, before I got the gift from my mom. I wanted to make a quarter fold card, but since that is something not so easily done in PSP, I made a template:) Below you can see the template and an example of how my card looks in the program, before it is printed. Click here to download your free copy of this template made for Paint Shop Pro (X2). (I would not mind making this to work in other programs as well, if someone wants to tell me how:)card-template-display.jpg co-card-sample.jpg
